By accessing or using FinBuddy, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use FinBuddy. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly at tech.support@saakarkaro.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

4. Licence to use FinBuddy

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use FinBuddy for your personal, non-commercial financial management.

5. Not financial, tax or investment advice

FinBuddy is an informational and organisational tool. The insights, summaries, tax estimates and projections it provides are for general guidance only and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Figures are estimates and may differ from official assessments. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make.

6. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the financial information and content you enter into FinBuddy. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, resell or commercially exploit the service except as permitted by law.
• Upload malware, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the service.

8. Third-party services

FinBuddy may rely on or link to third-party services (such as app stores, cloud providers or payment processors). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Fees and plans

FinBuddy is free to start. We may offer paid plans or features in the future; any applicable pricing and payment terms will be presented to you clearly before you are charged.

10. Intellectual property

FinBuddy, SaakarKaro, our logos, designs and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of any estimates or projections. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaakarKaro will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any financial loss, arising from your use of — or inability to use — FinBuddy.

13. Termination

You may stop using FinBuddy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India for any dispute, subject to applicable law.
